Silver Heart Award Spotlight: Diane, Ohio Living Village Home Health & Hospice

This week, we’re celebrating Silver Heart Award recipient Diane, who is a strong patient advocate and trusted mentor to the Ohio Living Village Home Health & Hospice team. Whether she is assisting a patient with a complex medical history, connecting families with obtaining community resources, or hosting orientation for new staff members, Diane always gives 100%.
“Diane is an outstanding nurse who provides her patients with exceptional, professional care,” shared her leader. “She works tirelessly to ensure that all patients and families have all the tools they need to be successful at home managing their conditions after their home health services are through. Her co-workers hold her in the highest regard, and she is a great asset to our team.
A colleague added, “Diane is the primary preceptor for new nurses in our area, and these employees really benefit from her expertise. She has an ability to quickly discern someone's strengths and weaknesses and tailors training to meet their specific needs. Even when orientation is over, Diane makes herself available to them for questions and continued support.”
